Duh, Obviously the beams have been hidden behind the illusion spell, that hides the ceiling mocking the actual sky. He dispelled the illusion by flying thru it.

Well, a few of our guesting visitors are rather, um, cat-like (Lemme20). But she's quite nice; I think you needn't fear her. Crookshanks has a sense of mischief. But no true malice, I believe.  |
