Not substantially. Anyway, it occurred to me that Cynder won't be on for a while, so here are some new riddles for us to work on:
1) I am, in truth, a yellow fork From tables in the sky By inadvertent fingers dropped The awful cutlery. Of mansions never quite disclosed And never quite concealed The apparatus of the dark To ignorance revealed.
2) My love, when I gaze on thy beautiful face, Careering along, yet always in place -- The thought has often come into my mind If I ever shall see thy glorious behind.
Have fun!

Bless it all, that didn't last any time at all! (Lightning & Moon were right). Okay, don't know Cynder's answers (she doesn't tell me, you know) but Magic and Superbattler each got one right, so they should each put up a riddle next. (I'd do more, but I want to be able to guess myself. Selfishness 'R Us!)
Oh, I should tell you where the riddles are from. The first is Emily Di-ckinson, and the second is Sir Edmund Gosse, who says his chambermaid wrote it.
Right, now who has a riddle for me?

......referring to the riddle I posted & then didn't get back to give the answer to (sorry about that!):
A singular pun: in the plural, impotent, yet it breathes life into the dead. Fifty thousand wizards are liege to it, yet it is yours to command. It is storming the gates of the empire! Gates is storming back.
The answer was Unix ---- MagicMuffin got it!

sort of.....ill give it to you its acctually the north pole(you can't go anyfarther south at the south pole) people were mostly supposed to be confused by the south and Then East Then north thing because Start l l l__l and you dont end at camp but at the pole anyway is south so after going east any move north leads to the say place.

Also, there are no polar bears in antarctica. At least, that's what my Zaide says, and he's been there! So... new riddles:
1)Then all thy feculent majesty recalls The nauseous mustiness of forsaken bowers, The leprous nudity of deserted halls -- The positive nastiness of sullied flowers. And I mark the colours, yellow and black, That fresco thy lithe, dictatorial thighs.
2)A serpent swam in a silver urn. A golden bird did in its mouth abide The serpent drank the water, this in turn Killed the serpent. Then the gold bird died.
Second one might be a little hard; it's definitely dated.
