Today I answered some letters, gave up trying to figure out the shower here (baths work too, right?), did some laundry, and speculated about the origins of bell towers.

hehehe, pretty good, Vyn!!! I was in track -- didn't even know there was such a thing as Cross Country -- wish I had, the longer distances were more my thing & in cross country runners actually get to GO somewhere (as opposed to round & round). Today I read a book (wasn't very good so I guess I'll just have to read another to make up for it  ) |

Today... I played Guild Wars, a wonderful but addictive thing Potter introduced me to, and hugged Cynder, and caught an adorable little garden snake (I think -the stripe CAN be green, right? On a black back-ground with a grey underside? Just the cutest thing, whatever he was), and played with my godson (hugged him too) and teased my aunt and read a very funny journal-letter from a French friend of mine who'd just been to Romania (he says if you want to get along with people, you name football -soccer- stars until you find someone you both like, because you don't have to know a language to list names), and got really excited because Irishman is back, and made a mess of pea soup. (it splatters. Sigh.)

Today.... I ate some of Hermione's pea soup (yum!), I conquered procrastinating (got to an appointment I was dreading rather than cancel it), went to the store, watched a movie & am procrastinating going to bed.

went to the little middle schoolers invitational for cross country, and got free breakfast from my coach then im goin to play football at 3:30 pm!
