Yup.
Now, tell the poor soul what ranks DO!
1) Every reset you get a small amount of marks from the lands that come with your rank. The amount you get is higher as the ranks go up, but really it's never very much even at the highest levels. 2) Having at least one rank means that you don't ever have to fight the guards to get into the castle or the court, and going into the court doesn't cost you any quests. 3) Every rank you get gives another point of power to the clan -and when a clan gets enough power, it gets to choose another clan ability. 4) You get bragging rights.
Lol, did I forget anything?

I'm not sure about point N3, cause I gained like 5 ranks once and clan power was the same... Although it recalculates during the reset

Yeah, and the problem is that there are so many people affecting it that it can get hard to see your own efforts. Up and down it goes, and where it stops, nobody knows... Kids' rhymes are really weird, aren't they? Something compelling about them, but they never QUITE make sense. How did we get on that topic? Nevermind.

Yup, lol, sentences are tricky that way, and heaven help us if they gang up and try to form a whole paragraph with coherence! It's not to be borne!

I've said much the same thing meself on rare occasions. All tha' structure, it's got to be an English thing. Irish tend ta allow things ta run off wit' No coherence whatsoever, I mean, anythin' at all can just form up and fall out an ya never know which ever which way that the words may go and come at you from everywhere and nowhere and it still has a certain rhyme an' reason ta it even tho' yer breathless at the end of it. (have at you, m'dear)

Encore! Encore!.................. There, that be two of the li'l darlin's fer ya. By the by, did ya know tha' the word encore is another o' them weird words tha' most likely meant som'thin else way way way back when, an' now noone can tell ya the or'ginal meenin'? I mean, it could be tha' way way way back it was wha' ya said afore throwin' out the rottin' fruit, dontcha know. Anyway, I wish I could give ya more o' the same meanderin' speech me girl, but I seems ta 'ave lost me flair fo' it. I mean, I can talk about thems long winded words like werewithal, and foreasmuchs and so forth, but ta get inta me 'eart an dig out the 'onest me, tha be a merry undertakin' tha only the mere presence o' me friend can bring about. I mean I'da had ta know tha' you were here fer me ta wax long and breathless abou' nothin' fer yer delight and helpless gales o' laughter as ya run on and on and on and on in breathless antic'pation fer the next words hopin' fer an end while desirin' the flow o' words ta run unceasin'. BUT, that t'would take up to much o' the clans time, an Im sure we 'ave more important things ta speak about..... Back at ya...again, lass

Hoping for an end? Lol, now just what do you mean by implying that I could ever be so ungracious -okay, I'm often ungracious, but that's not to say foolish, and it would be very foolish indeed to wish for an end of your prattle; after all, it's so nice to be able to laugh and opportunities like that don't come along very (okay, so they DO come along often, but, what, now I can't be sensible enough to not know that you can't have to much of a good thing -and I'm using far too many negatives, but I haven't lost track of them and if you sort them out I'm pretty sure it still works, which is the important bit, after all -well, okay, no, the important bit was the point but the babbling has probably blunted it a bit so it's safe enough to bring up other issues like clarity) often and although I must admit I've frequently said that I'm foolish (the first half of a favourite of mine -'I'm foolish, not stupid') in this case it doesn't apply in the least... which is a phrase that is rather intriguing of its ownself, because if you haven't got the least part of a thing, couldn't that imply that you've got the most part of it? You know, you win, I've lost track completely. What the deuce was I trying to say?
