Just got home from seeing it! Was really great, went by fast, very entertaining and great special effects!

they really took great liberty with this film, changing a whole lot of stuff. like hermione's reaction to grawp. as for grawp, the dude was definitely not that tame. and where was the statue dumbledore was supposed to animate in the end battle with voldemort? why oh why did kingsley shaklebolt have to be so african? *grumble*

You try to squeeze a 900 page book in a 2 hour movie. Haha.
I thought it was the most accurate to the book of all the movies so far.
I saw it in iMax! That was defiantly the way to see it. The last 20 minutes (where they are in the ministry) was in 3D.

(((((((((Vert!))))))))))) You know, I'm so absent-minded I didn't really notice inconsistencies although I think they downplayed Sirius' death. I was expecting to cry my little heart out but it was like *poof* he's dead, let's move on. Ok, I think Grawp looked a little like David Hasselhoff...lol. Seriously, I liked Grawp.

they could have done a better job if they did less panning of hogwarts
the ministry battle was indeed rather well done, with the exception of the missing animated statues.
during the scene where harry is showing cho how to hold the wand during the DA meeting, at the part where harry says "higher" my friend Denise just comes out of nowhere with "i bet it is." what a naughty girl!

Okay I know this makes me a complete dork, but Phineas Nigelas's name was blown off the tapestry for some reason?
He's a valued member of the Black family

You are not a dork. You are the official Potterhead. Sirius said something bout his mom blowing his head off the tapestry, maybe Phineas displeased her also and Poof!...? Pure speculation, of course.

Yeah but he would have his portrait taken down from the black house at the same time.
Doesn't make sense he'd have a portrait but not a spot on the tapestry?

Actually, I was just upset because I wanted to see the swamp the Weasley twins created in the hallway! Hee hee hee, can't you imagine the future first-years wandering about, 'why is there a swamp cordoned off in this hallway?'
