I am living contradiction to that statement, Verty!
But I agree that Sirius would not be the most reliable of sources regarding his brother's abilities. Sirius didn't strike me as terribly mature, despite what you would have thought would be a very aging experience in Azkaban. I suspect he let his feelings overwhelm his judgement when it came to evaluating Regulus.

Hm, speaking of Harry and parents, once Voldemort is gone, he won't have to stay with the Dursleys anymore, will he? Pity the showdown comes so late in his life. Wouldn't it have been funny if he'd ended up having to live with Snape for some reason?

the magic that the dursleys have to protect him ends when he becomes 17 anyways, so its not really a huge issue for him i would imagine. :-)

Anybody knows when its coming? I thought it took ages for the 6'th to get out n I had forgotten everything that happen in the last books by the time I got it  . hoping that wont happen again.. N btw, why r the movies so bad!!! It makes me furious seeing how great the Lord of the rings trilogy turned out to bee n the Harry potter movies stink!  |

heckk no anime would be stupid. They are good movies...they are just made for children..kind of like chronicles of narnia..great book stupid movie. I got to see the 6th book before it hit stores..it was GREAT

haha, anime? no way ;D! But I would have spend more time on getting them really good instead of just fireing out a movie cuz it was a Harry Potter craze at that time. N not only do I think the movies r bad, but the actors as well. The guy playing Ron is the only one thats any good I think. N some teachers r alright but overall I think the acting is weak. But then again thats prob cuz they cut out most of the day to day stuff n just stick with the parts thats vital to the story. The actors dont get to do anything but beeing either happy or depressed pending on their progress.

Alan Rickman (Snape) does a great job, but the fact is that it is REDIULOUSLY hard to find an 11 year old that can act. So they took a chance hoping that they would get better as the series progresses. They did a good job with hermione in the movies too. Emma Watson is a fox. HAHAHA (she's only like a year younger than me. Im not a pervert!!) :-)

lol, almost got worried there  , and yes, snape n McGonagoll is ok. But I have to disagree regarding the child actors. I know of many good ones (american though) that I definatly believe would have done a better job then Radcliffe.. Not that he's horrible but still... |
