Just finished reading it.
I was incredibly touched when Snape's story was finally revealed, my favorite part of the novel i think. And even though i liked the book on the whole, I also thought it was rushed; 759 pages but it still feels like there could have been more at the end, like what happens to the Dursleys? Who does draco marry anyway was it pansy parkinson? anyway the conclusion to a great series has finally been reached. and it only took about 8 years or so

Ten years isn't actually all that long when you think about it. Heh, look at Jean Auel!

Is it taking. Remember Clan of the Cavebear? Which I think came out the year I was born? She's still not finished...

wow! hope she's still having fun writing them... it's too easy for long projects to turn into chores from something we want to do.

Lol, movies are okay too I guess, but they take just as long with less details, you know, so... actually, haven't seen the latest!

Hi Irish!
you'll want to re-watch the movies after you've read the books -- there are allusions in the movies to stuff in the books that they had to cut for the movies.... adds lots of depth when you know the books.

Yeah I agree. When I was younger I thought the movies were trash, but now I think that really they are the best that could be done with the time frame that was available.
The sixth book was my favorite I think though. Or the fifth. Or the fourth, but the third had merrit too. Then there was the second and the first. Oh but I really liked the seventh. Okay maybe I don't know which is my favorite.

I have a great 'rule' of favourites you can borrow if you like: The favourite is the one you read last.
Hee hee!
