Hey, is Potter a normal name? I have family in german n alot of people I know there has names like Wood-carver, Shoe-maker n Dish-washer, in german though. (well that last one I made up but still) and here in Sweden everyones called Larsson and Göransson but ive hardly ever heard of English perople beeing named after proffesions or by certain rules like in Sweden... maybe ive just missed it

Yeah Potter is a very common name. It's not like "potter" as in "One that does potting." It just a name like any other.

(Er, actually, Vertigo, "Potter" did indeed start out as a "Yeah, that's my job" name. It just got fixed onto families so long ago that people don't think anything of it now. Like "Underhill" used to be a last name for undertakers. Um, I'm going on too much again, huh? Right. Shutting up now.)

Yeah thts what i was saying. We bastardized it so its so far away from its original meaning that the original meaning has very little significance.

Sirinnu's in SOIA? Hm. You know what, I think I'll just let it pass; I've heard they're as bad as we are in that once you start hanging around you can't quit -and I've enough things to spend my time on already!
