Ok, so it has been a while since I've played DC and I have a few questions for the veterans.. What level would it be best to go into the forest at if you don't want to die two or three times a game? I know it says level 8 is the minimum, but there's that dying issue. Also, I know there was something to hurl at the snots to get them to go away, besides food, but I can't remember what it was - or am I just imagining that? And the wheel of fate, that's new to me, how does that work? Is it completely random, or is there some sort of system to it? I think that's all I have right now.. haven't managed to get into the castle yet to petition to join.  It'll be nice though. - brigid |

wheel of fate is random.
recommended level is when you can go into it.. lol just avoid the unicorns, snots, and elves, you should be able to take on the rest by that time. and make sure you have adequate equipment. =]

alright thanks. I went in there today and got my rear handed to me as I was remembering which to go after and which not.. the snots and unicorns I remembered to avoid, the elves I couldn't so I took on one whose stats were relatively comparable to mine.. needless to say, my one bottled fairy saved my butt.
wee... this is when the fun starts.
you know, i've noticed that trying to clean up my language (I have language like a sailor, in RL, so usually my characters get at least some of that) is interesting - I have to read everything over to make sure it's clean and substitute some words I'm very much not used to using. But everything seems so clean here I don't want to foul it up.. and it's kind of fun, in a challenging sort of way.

I finally am able to pwn the forest. But then I went to the castle and a goblin rager went to town on me. I'm lvl twelve now though, so it's no biggie.
