That's pretty funny. Hm, having trouble coming up with something. Ah! Did you know that the first irrational number that was proven to exist (mathematically, I mean ) was the square root of two?

Not at all, but I do remember doing Maths 4 for my hnc/hnd degree and doing J notation imaginary numbers, and having a real problem getting to grips with why I was learning it. Bit like that base 7 crap

Okay, I touched on imaginary numbers but never went into depth with them. What's a "j notational" one? I mean, I've only ever heard of using an "i" after it. Is a "j" the square root of a square root of a negative number, or something? Hm, now I have to think about how that would work...

Nooooo!!! Stop the mathness! Lol.....I have no clue what "j" notationals are....or even the "i". But I am currently pulling my hair out over factoring. I was trying to explain it to my husband.....it's like playing jeopardy with math. You've got the answer, just need to find out what the question is. Now, if they gave me the answer, why in the world would I bother finding out what the question is in the first place? ? I don't care what they say, numbers may not lie, but mathematics as a whole is the MOST irrational thing that I've ever studied.

Lol,,,,I don't miss it one bit, Herm J notation is just i notation, its the same thing, some books use j, some use i. I seem to remember having to do differentiation and integration, was pretty good at math, I wouldn't know where to start now, I once knew what every single button did on a calculator, and asaria, I pitty you, I remember factoring....

I didn't mind factoring so much, but, oh, I did NOT like matrices! Once we got into integrals, though, the word problems started becoming less frequent, and those were the things that tripped me up the most, so weirdly enough math for me got easier...

You may not buy alcohol on election day due to the fact that it dates back to big party closed door politics. It is means of making sure that no one really effects another persons vote through a narcotic or thought impairing substance.

Hm, lol, we've moved a bit beyond that, now. Hee hee, if someone wanted to affect peoples' votes now-a-days they'd hack into the system and just plain change them! Putting votes on a computer system scares me, can you tell?

useless knowledge...the "bobbies" of Endland were named after Robert Peeler, the original uniform was a top-hat and tails, which they were to stay in at all times. (No civilian clothes for them.) They also had to ask their commanders' permission before they got married, or even had dinner with a civillian.
I love useless history trivia:P

I know this to be true but I couldn't help and share that little fact but just to let you know that if you are ever in Washington D.C. and you go to the FDR monument you will that there is not one statue in the memorial with him seated in his wheel chair and the chair is visible. LOL yes, I have heard that you have a bit of CYBERPHOBIA but then again we all have are little quirks Hermione ;D

useless: I had a dream about Torra last night. I kept saying to myself. this girl doesn't seem like the same woman who writes in the forum! in my dream she was about 24 years old, and she and wahoo were at a week long seminar that I had to go to. come to find out, she was really good friends with my family friends, adn ended up at my house! then she needed someplace to stay for the week, so she stayed at our house. anyway... she had short dark curley hair. and she was kinda short, too. but she had her lap top, and stayed busy the whole time, so I didn't get a chance to tell her who I was! watch her be a tall blond... lol
