Lol. Oh, more Useless Knowledge: The first American restaurant to feature a menu in both English and French was Delmonico's. (And, no, I've never been there, I don't know if it still exists, and I don't know where or when it was. I just know what I told you. As I said, completely useless! )

More Useless Knowledge: Anne McCaffrey wrote her first book in Latin Class (she says it might have gone over better had it been written in Latin. )

useless: I just took an accounting test. the one and only that I actually feel confident about, and the scores weren't immediately available! all other online tests have the scores available to you as soon as you are done taking the test. not this one. the old man forgot? I donno. the last wuestion was: this test was: A) easier than the first one B) more difficult than the first one C)about the same difficulty as the forst one D) was so difficult that I never want to pick up my accounting book again! What teacher in his right mind writes a question like that?! I think I got it right...

I am glad you find that funny. I did not. accounting is not easy for me. in fact, I would do almost anything to avoid it. but I can't, so I just moan and complain every chance I get! I do want to say though, that I AM holding a B in the class!

I'm glad to say my days of learning are over, well not really but you know what I mean, i hated accounts too, spending ages swapping figures to get it to balance Yukkkk. Useless knowledge:- when England won the world cup (real football) in 1966, if the scores had been level after extra time, it was to be decided on a coin flip
