One dark night..... the newest RPG

Frizelious shouts, "together,,whatever this is we need to be compact", Frizelious, steels himself

[superbattler]

superbattler draws his staff ready for a fight..

[Cynder]

The creature tilts to slip between two collumns and you get a better glimpse of it. It is huge! Broader ( nearly 42 feet -- 14 meters) than it is long (21 feet -- 7 meters) with a mouth on the underside. As you watch, liquid drools from the mouth to land in several hissing drops.

The creature appears to be attempting to land right on top of your whole group!!!

Frizelios suddenly realises the creature is not going to attack head on,and tehy are very vulnerable in the position they are in. " Forget what I siad, its attacking from above, scatter and anyone using prjectile weapons fire at it" Frizelious rolls forward to be underneath the creatures belly

[superbattler]

superbattler ducks off to the side and prepares to fight the thing if it gets near him.

[Cynder]

<Frizelious -- the rather flat 21 ft tail (7 meters) looks prehensil. The movements suggest that the creature uses it to help guide things to its mouth>

<SuperBattler -- as you start to duck off to the side, you notice that the group is in a small clearing, ringed by stalagmites. Most of the stalagmites are small, but there are several ones taller than Garrumph on the right side of the trail.>

what is that thing!?!?<blacksky draws weapon but has no time for poison>

Garrumph moves with the group, waiting for an opportunity to smash the thing's tail with her staff.

[Cynder]

The creature, after positioning itself, seems to drop suddenly down, on top of Frizelious and BlackSky. Hissing drops fall as it opens and closes its mouth. There is a brief impression of sharp teeth.

The tail swings out, attempting to herd stragglers under the creature's great span. It is surreal how daintily the tip touches stalagmites on its sweep. In jumping back out of its way, Coal trips on a stalagmite and falls down... did he hit his head? You're not sure, but there is no time to check, at least he fell backward and is out of danger.... for now.

<Frizelious & BlackSky --- most light is cut off as the edges and front of the creature touch the ground. You have a brief glimpse that suggests the edges are trying to sweep in toward you across the ground. The underbelly hits your head. There is a small space under it. You can stand if you crouch. You hear hissing drops a few feet behind you.>

<Garrumpn --- the tail sweeps toward you... you smash at it with your staff and it recoils and then swiftly curls and whips back at you.>

<SuperBattler -- you made it to the stalagmites just before an edge sweeps by you. It is close enough to fight.>

Frizelious, concentrates and uses perspective time dialation, to him everything now seemd to be running in slow motion, although he can't move any faster he can judge a situation a lot quicker. Frizellious slits the creature underbelly with his double daggers, but swiftly moves his hands out of the way incase the creatures blood is acidic.

blacksky quickly jumps to his feet and jabs at the creatures underbelly

[superbattler]

superbattler swings his staff at the creature with great force.

[Cynder]

Two long white gashes appear where Frizelious sliced the underbelly. A little ichor oozes from the wounds, but surprisingly little.

Blacksky stabs upward and when he withdraws his dagger, it is hard to see where the wound was/is.

The creature hardly seems to react from these attacks. It's mouth closes and then reopens. A new batch of drool falls hissing to the ground.

The creature shudders as SuperBattler's staff strikes its side.

<Frizelious & Blacksky --- you see a brief glimpse of light on one side as the creature shudders>

It begins to rotate and the tail swings toward SuperBattler.

<SuperBattler -- There is a dent where you hit it. You definitely did some damage!>

<BlackSky -- your dagger did not do the damage you expected, there isn't a lot of room under the creature & ... it has real bad breath!>

<Frizelious -- looking at the gashes, it seems like this creature has some sort of fat or callouse layer protecting it's underbelly. The ichor dripping from it does not hiss as it hits the ground. There are occasional glimpses of stalagmites as the creature rotates in place.>

[superbattler]

superbattler quickly tries to get out of the way before the tail hits him.

[Cynder]

SuperBattler -- you successfully evade the tail. There are several stalagmites and the tail begins questing into them, then retreating to go around several and then questing into them again. You can keep evading the tail, by moving around between the stalagmites.

The beast's sides begin to travel in across the ground -- trying to trap Blacksky and Frizelious in a smaller and smaller space beneath it. At the same time it begins to vibrate.

Frizelious and Blacksky -- the beast's belly lifts a bit. You can stand up now, but the bottom of the sides are drawing in toward the center. The beast begins to shake and the mouth closes and opens --- the shaking sprays hissing drops in a wider circle, barely missing you.>

[superbattler]

superbattler hits the creature with his staff, trying to draw it away from frizelios and blacksky.

[magicmuffin]

Garrumph jumps gracefully over the whipping tail to land another hit with her staff onto the creature's oddly dented side. She swings the full staff into its side with violent force.

[Cynder]

Garrumph had to move around the creature's side to hit near the dent, therefor she hits only once -- but it is a mighty hit. There appears to be some sort of hard shell covering on the animal, but Garrumph's staff breaks thru and clearly hurts the monster.

SuperBattler is so busy avoiding the tail and dodging behind the stalagmites, that his blow on the creature is much weaker than his first blow and does not dent its side.

Underneath the creature --- there is a sudden lifting of one edge and loud thud accompanied by a shudder running thru the creature. The mouth, was just starting to close to generate more drool --- instead it opens wide and a puff of bad breath fills the space.

The tail continues to quest about the stalagmites for SuperBattler.

Frizelious gets Blacksky's attention, then gets into a crouching position and shoulder charges the side of the creature just where it is slightly lifted, he hopes Balcksky gets the idea, as it is impossible to be heard in the comotion

[superbattler]

superbattler tries to hit the creatures tail with his staff, so it will quit chasing him.
