Elsa could hear the voices around her. She tried to sit up and tell what she'd seen but all that showed on the outside was her mouth twitching, her eyes fluttering and a low groan of pain.

"Where's Doc?" Kala shouted angrily, as the girl seemed not to be on place...
"We need somebody to tell the falcon to lead us to the point he's been. Maybe you can do that Victorirose? Be careful not to get all he's seen or you will end up as Elsa does. And if you can hear us, Elsa, I'm sure you understand we have to go there as quick as possible...
"So if it isn't dangerous for you, we could sit you on your horse and slowly go."
Looking again for Doc: "Doc!!! Come on - Elsa needs you! Please hurry. In the meantime - Garrelous could you look for Elsa? And did anybody see the Elven guards today?"
Kala was in a hurry - Elsa didn't look good and he thought that the one who did it to Elsa knew right now they were coming to help Tsevelanth. So any minute he could prepare was not good for the party. But anyways - the Elven guards must be sidelined first, as Kala didn't want to have them in his back...
Where was SForce? Kala didn't remember to have seen him lately. maybe he was the one who could help surprise the guards and kill them before they even know what happens...

Victorirose looked at her new friends and with a heavy heart she looked at them. "This has been a grand adventure I do hope you get your friend back but the feeling I got the day before has stayed with me. The one you seek is very evil and I do not think I am ready to take on such a task. I am leaving and returning to my homeland hopefully I will be execpted for who I am. Good bye all." And she picked up her things gave Geoffry a kiss on the check then walked out of the house and back towards the way they had originally came.

Dolmine watched her in distress, then suddenly cried, "Wait! Here," and she rummaged in her pack for a cake of crumbling dye. She'd been trying to create an ink with it, but she could always make more later. "Take this. It's a bright green -you should be able to trade it for something. Maybe it will help get you home safely." She shifted back and forth awkwardly, embarassed. "I hope you get back all right." She darted forward, patted Victoriarose on the shoulder, and swiftly retreated again, although she waved a moment later as the telepath left.

Geoffry stood there, mouth agape. He knew not what to say to the young beautiful madien. "Wait!" he said. "You can't leave us yet! it is too dangerous for you to leave now. Stay until it is safe. I know this man is evil and has power, but we have goodness and light! . . . . and besides. . . I have not had a chance to dance with you . . . " Geoffry blushed as he realized he was actually attracted to her as more than a possible dance partner. He angrily pushed that thought from his mind and resumed scanning for danger, hoping that Elsa would recover soon.

Elsa sat up suddenly, the effects of the mindspell wearing off due to her resilience against such things. She rubbed her eyes and watched Victorirose retreat from the campsite. She shrugged it off as she had a distinct feeling that they would cross paths again. Habitual wanderers frequently did. When she had the attention of the others, she related everything she saw and asked hastily, "How is the hawk? He wasn't harmed, was he?" Angry tears were just about to spill at the thought of the innocent creature suffering any harm. She unconsciously placed her hand on her sword.

"No, no, he's fine, he's with Kala. Er... you're all right? You're sure?" Dolmine regarded her uneasily. "um. We should maybe get going then. Er... did we want to retrieve the riding beasts, then?"

Geoffry watched Victirose leave, and heard Dolime's comment about retriveing the horses. "Dolime! I think the inks you play with have affected your brain! If you pulled your head up from your maps and journals long enough you would have noticed that the horses are picketed just over there." Geoffry grinned and pointed to the picket. He turned back again and shot a thought to Victrirose< "be careful and come back soon"> and hoped she would here it. He gathered up his bed roll and tied his gear on his mount.

<Another one gone> Kala thought <This will going to be tougher by the minute... Doom died, Victorirose is scared away, SForce seems not to be around anymore, although he might be somewhere in our middle...>
But shoving aside the unwelcome thoughts, he brings Elsa back her Falcon: "He's fine, just a little scared about you."
Without a further word he went to the horses and silently began to mount. "Let's go - it's about time..."

"Ok...thank you" Elsa said softly as she furtively brushed some tears from her cheeks and sighed in relief. She carefully looked over the hawk perched on her arm and after a brief moment, the hawk flew up into the sky with a loud call. After a somewhat wobbly effort to stand up, she approached Garrelous and asked "So...what's the plan?" Hopefully, no harm had come to Tsevelanth since her "bird's eye view" had been so unceremoniously interrupted. The urge to plunge a knife into someone richly deserving it began to pound in her veins as steadily as her heartbeat pounded in her chest.

Garrelous picked up his belongings, it was time to move again...His friends were dwindling when he needed them the most, he sighed. "Is it time to leave then, we know the way thanks to our feathered friend"

Dolmine blushed and fan back to her pack to hide her face -she pretended to need to concentrate very very hard on putting away the few items left out. Then she picked up the pack and sort of siddled over to the horses. She eyed them distrustfully -a day spent in their company was no palliative for years of wariness. She wasn't ABOUT to try mounting without the competent druid to act as go-between! She snuck an admiring glance at Elsa, then turned the attention to the decisive Garrelous. She'd never been sure who was leading the group, but if Garrelous said it was time to go she'd better prepare herself for another day of riding.

Garrelous had not responded to her question so Elsa examined him more closely. He seemed somewhat dejected and she heard the sigh. She guessed at the reason for the sigh and took a chance. "Garrelous," she tapped him gently on the shoulder. "I'm with you on this quest until the end. You have my word."

Kala was in pretty good spirit. He trusted his compagnions, enjoyed the adventure and had a chance to get another wand... So what could be better?
The group was kind of banged up, but the core still was moving, so he didn't pay too much attention to the fact that the number declined.
He put some sticks on hs horses saddle so he could lean on them and take a nap while the horse was moving. "Just have a look at my horse so I don't get lost. And wake me up before there is some danger..."

Elsa gave Garrelous a friendly pat on the back "And then we kick some elf teeth loose!" she declared merrily. She quickly secured her pack to her pony and climbed up. Once settled onto the pony's back, she led her over to Dolmine and extended an arm to help. "Riding with us?" she asked with a smile.

Goeffry mounted Duke. The bay was feeling fiesty and he pranced and danced about sensing the excitment.
"Yes Duke! Today we ride to rescue our friend! " Geoffry's eyes held a steely glint. His swords well honed, his armour on, and his quiver full with a new string on his bow. Yes he was ready!
