Which simply begs the same question I've asked once already... only I suppose in this case it'd be better to say, "What are you going to do with it?"

Lol, thanks, Vertigo.
Now, does anyone know why/when the "Invest" option in the court disappeared?

Before I started I assume?

It was at least a year ago that it disappeared. Can't remember which update.
You used to be able to invest & the next day in your DC mail would be the results. Sometimes you lost all, sometimes you got a little back, sometimes broke even & sometimes made out like a bandit.
I never had much luck with it, but Potter said he made tons. I think it was based on wits, but I could be wrong. Personally I think the dragon is a much better way to get the marks up.

I don't know. Honestly, I wasn't that interested in the court stuff the first couple of years I played. Like it was probably a few months before I noticed that drakes didn't work, and I STILL don't know when you stopped being able to buy enchant scrolls. Don't know when this disappeared either but you've been around a few upgrades so you might've been here for it -I just don't know. It's why I'm asking! Lol, can you tell I'm frustrated? And over something I can't affect, too... good thing I've got muggy weather to blame it on. Hee hee!

You did? No you didn't. You've been here for at LEAST one upgrade because this crystal stuff is new. Right? Right?
Okay, what counts as an upgrade and what doesn't?
(Speaking of upgrades, before we got Azteca, when you just fished off the dock and sometimes landed in Hie Brasil or Shangri La or wherever? What was the screen for that again? Was it just the "docks" where you pay now, only that was where you fished? Only, that screen seems vaguely new too -I don't remember Silver's Storage before, or that Shack gambling thing-a-ma-bob. Humph. Oh, well. Guess it's not important anyway.)

well... I'm not known for the accuracy of my memory... but I shall attempt an answer and others are welcome to correct my recollections Long ago... in an earlier incarnation of DC: The village wasn't nearly so large. There was no Gambling Shack and no Silver Storage. The innkeeper stored gear for heroes. Contrary to popular belief, rust did exist back then... it was just very easy to avoid. The odds of something rusting was based on where you slept, how much was in your pack, how much was in storage. Putting all your gear in your pack & having tons of it & sleeping in the Goblin Mounds pretty much guaranteed some rust. Conversely, putting less than 20 items in storage & keeping only certain items on & having a sleeping bag, camping gear & cooking gear in ones pack & staying at the most expensive room in the inn pretty much guaranteed no rust. Also if gear was scrolled.... the scrolls rusted off before any stats were ever affected. So one could avoid having equip rusting by simply keeping some sort of scrolls on them. Usually a bless and at least 5 enchants. Drakes gave extra quests (1 per drake, limited only by how many drakes you had) and enchant scrolls could be bought in the mountains. And that last is the one I miss something fierce!!! The docks sold voyages. Once out at sea one could Fish or Voyage home. (I don't think that screen exisits any more.) Fishing had several possible outcomes: nothing shows up & you lose the quest You got a monster from the sea (the ones now in 'Fishing': Sea Serpent, Mermaid, Pirate) if you had a map to Hie Brasil, you might also have gotten a monster from Hie Brasil or if you had a map to Shangri La, you might have gotten a monster from there. or a fairy might turn up. which you got was partially dependent on your wits. And questing in the Docks was a very good way to earn wits, because each time you would get Hie Brasil or Shangri La there was a chance of earning wits. Maps were also a bit harder to come by back in those days & were standard items clans needed to give new members.

Crystal Swift Boots ?
Take it that you make those from the Noble Trophies Queens Quest?? That right.
Next question...do you get Crystal Boots everytime or sometime just normal Swift Boots?

OK....new question....we have Quick as one of the clan abilities.
If I have an item with quick...will it give you extra quest on top of the clans quick?

Nope. The only things that are stackable are things with percentages, like Strong or agile.

The docks was in the castle prior to the update that brought Azteca. it was where the dungeons lie now and the dungeons was where the court quests reside. i think...hehe got a failing memory also:o
