I probably should have posted this several days ago to get our stats up, but late is better than never. I have recently quested... umm.. ALOT of characters to level 6 to get them in the castle. I've figured out I can get them to level six on day one about 30-40% of the time. Here's a walk through so you can do this too.
Create a new character. Post here to let me know the character's name so i can send out junk IMMEDIATELY.
Log in to DC. When creating the new character's stats put all of the stats in marks.
Go to the weapon's shop and purchase the short sword.
Go to market lane and enter the armor shop.
Purchase the scale suit (strongest body) the boots (strongest feet) and the chain coif (strongest head).
You should be left with 48 marks remaining. Equip all of your gear and enter the forests.
Tithe those 48 marks. It will leave you 24/25ths the way to level two. Use your first quest.
The wheel will come up as your first quest. Try to pick the one that will be the highest value. I personally choose the high value junk if present (turquoise etc). If you win that sell it and tithe those marks away as well. If not dont worry about it.
Okay now with the weapons combination you bought you will be able to kill ANYTHING in the forest, but here's how to make the character work best for you.
Try to help the wizards/merchants. If that doesnt work kill them. Occationally you will be in a battle to the death with a wizard. If you cannot hit him run. You will gain 22 exp. either way. A merchant will give you 4.
When you kill your first merchant you will get food.
After this point feed all rats that you come in contact with (as long as you have food, if not dont worry about it)
Also bribe all orcs that you come into contact with. It will save a quest both feeding and bribing.
Aside from that KILL EVERYTHING. Nothing will be able to kill you, I promise. You will not need to change weapons, but the first time I get a long bow, I usually switch, just because it makes killing easier.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, if not, enjoy being one of the few who can enter the castle on day one. If you only get to level 5, do not fear, you will get to level 6 the next day with plenty of quests and lots of dragon scales you can tithe in your mail and enough quests left over to gain a rank or two.
