I'm Kilomon. No. That has no relation to Digimon, Pokemon or dividing the name up into Kilo(1,000) mon("man" with Jamaican accent) for "ONE THOUSAND MAN!" or anything. Just Kilomon. A name I came up with in another game and it stuck.

So yeah. Played Dragon Court back in my... Sophmore year of high school? Something like that. Now a few years later, going through college... becoming bored... playing again... and realizing I don't know what the hell is going on.

So I'm relearning my way around the game, and in that time getting decent information in the process.

So yeah. That's me. Or at least it's my introduction. Ok then. That's all.

We found through trial-and-error that sending a shorter note that doesn't promise anything actually works best. People don't take it that you're trying to bribe them, and they get something short enough they don't mind reading it, and it's impersonal enough they don't feel stalked.
We tend to send 1-5 dragon scales, or something similar, with the letter, to make it worth their while to pick it up. Also, we have a master list so we don't send multiple letters to one character. Don't want to spam! Of course, that's harder with the new mail-getting-lost, and rust issues, but we try our best. Can't expect more than that!
If you discover any other tips, pass them on!

Oh, yeah. The other noticeable trend is that people with the funny and/or odd names are more likely to join. Don't know why, but it is cool!
