Yup. Different forms of the SAME verb, in fact. It's tricky, isn't it?

okay... not my turn, but.... gees... there's no riddle up! So, another joke one ('cause I can't think of any real riddles): What's the most popular gardening magazine? (remember, this is a joke - not a serious question) PS... Hermione --- lol, that wasn't my guess -- Frizzer had asked my age (and no, I am NOT 32 -- that would have made me 10 when you were born & it was far more respectable than that) also: close as in next to something & close as in shutting a door

I think you were joking, Frizzer, you thought her other joke was "a jellyfish", remember? Anyway, exalt for the gentlemanly sentiments! Oo, and I have to get JTG at some point, here, he found FIVE!

Remember that list Cynder put up a while back about words that, if you added or removed or changed one letter, turned into a "new" and amusing word, that you could define? Maybe we could try to come up with our own. The only one I remember is "Sarchasm: the gulf between the person of sarcastic wit and the person who just doesn't get it" -or some such thing. I don't have any to add, but it's something to occupy the time with while we wait for Krondore.

Do i get too post another riddle A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early...Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning. Why did the man not die?sorry again for my delay........... would it be that the ice cubes were poisoned and that he drank some before the ice melted? regardless if it is correct, the next riddle i put up is.... Three kids went for a walk. Hours later, they came to a wide, deep river. There was no bridge over there and they did not have a raft or boat, or any materials to make one. And none of them could swim. How did they cross the river?

It was frozen and they walked across? You were just talking about ice cubes so it springs to mind.

The lake was frozen,,, the ice cubes poisoned, I'm happy with those conclusions, so we need a new one now

Sigh, Potter told me the answers before I could start guessing (in case he wasn't on often enough). Anyway, JTGirl, keep guessing.
There's a rather famous set from the fairy tale...
1) What's the sweetest thing in all the earth? 2) What's the fastest thing in all the earth? and I forget the third... anyone know which tale I'm referring to? The first recorded incident of a young lady wearing fishnet, lol...

Yup, that was the answer in the story. Do you remember the first? Or what the third question was?
