Just for you Hermi!!! Some will use me, while others will not, some have remembered, while others have forgot. For profit or gain, I'm used expertly, I can't be picked off the ground or tossed into the sea. Only gained from patience and time, can you unravel my rhyme?

Or history or wisdom? (Thanks muchly, JTGirl! ) Quoted from Krondore at the end of the last riddle thread: "What is the one thing that may go up, but never comes down ?" And, hm, maybe inflation? Lol. Helium? (er, from the toast) Bottoms? Okay, maybe not. Um, um, hmmm.... I'll add more guesses later.

If Brazil is east of New York, cross out all the W's and X's. If not, cross out all the A's. If Henry VIII lived in the same century as Columbus, cross out all the Y's. If not, cross out the M's and N's. If Golden Gate Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the world, cross out all the S's and E's. If not, cross out all the I's and Z's. What word do you have left?

to solve that last riddle you need to be in some sort of a club for genius IQ's, like MENSA or something, I give up on that one jtg Interesting fact: 4 out of 3 people have trouble with fractions!

Glass, mostly. With some steel girders, generally speaking.
Okay, now it's my turn. How many pairs of animals did Moses take with him on the ark?

NONE, Moses was not on the Ark, Noah was.
It starts out with four, if you cut one off 3 fall down and 5 remain. What is it ?

Aha! I got it! It's corners... if you start with a rectangle (4 corners) and cut one corner off (imagine cutting a corner off a piece of paper), then there are actually three corners that fall (you cut off a triangle, with three corners) and you're left with a really lop-sided pentagram (five corners on the piece of paper you started with)! Ha! Drat. Lol, forgot I'd have to give one now. Um... Hey, wait, maybe I'm wrong, then I'm off the hook!

I know hermi hates commin gup with new riddles, so I thought I would post for her.
The happy couple had decided what to name their expected baby, even though they didn't know whether it would be a boy or a girl. Both their family names contained the letters ODLYL, and the names for both sexes could be made from those letters. What were the two names?
