is this a trick ?
the actual reason is... there are roughly 365.25 days in a year... if you don't add in the extra day in there, then eventually january will be a summer month...
is that what you are looking for?

Because no one wanted to admit that having a measly leap DAY every four years wasn't much compared to the lunar calendar leap MONTHS, so they called them leap YEARS instead? Lol. A riddle-like answer... hm. Because they make great farce setter-uppers?

Riddle Me this Riddle Me That...
While exploring the wild highlands of Scotland, Crazy Rob was captured by hostile wood fairies.
Smazze, the powerful chief of the fairies told him he could make one final statement which would determine how he would die.
If the statement he made was false, he would be boiled in water.
If the statement were true, he would be fried in oil.
Crazy Rob found neither of this options too his liking, so he made a statement that got him out of this seemingly impossible situation.
What is the one statement he could make to save himself? ;D

"I will be boiled in water" would be the answer to that one.

Correct indeed so here we go again, Riddle me this Riddle me That.
There are four brothers in this world that were all born together. The first runs and never wearies. The second eats and is never full. The third drinks and is always thirsty. The fourth sings a song that is never good. ;D Who are the four brothers?

A song that is never good? Hm. Well, a nose could run without being weary, and a mouth eats without getting full (it's the stomach that gets full. ). But drinks and always thirsty? And songs? Hmm. Nope, still thinking!

A glove? Huh. Still working on the brothers. Come to that, is "brothers" a clue? Or would any gender siblings work. (That sounds like we have a variety to choose from... interesting mental image. )

Oh, had a thought. If we're going the water-like route, what about such things as ice (which can "drink" up lots and lots of water and still have no liquid about to quench its thirst) and water vapour, which can make a very noisy "song"?

Gender is not a clue in fact the answer i am looking for can be refereed to as the 4 sisters or daughters. Not, just the 4 brothers as it appears in the riddle.

The river, the river mouth, the river's head, and a waterfall? Huh. STILL having trouble with this one... it's good!
