There is a delayed echo of falling bodies. The darkness is so intense you cannot see even your own body.
As you pick yourself up, the ground beneath you begins to glow in a grid pattern. You barely have time to notice you are no longer standing on solid ground, before a blast of air lifts you. For several seconds you are airborne, blown into your companions and tumbled about several feet off the ground.
The glow winks out and you fall back to earth in a heap.
<Frizelius' (and only Frizelius') can see the cavern walls in the faint glow from the grid. It is a large open dome about the size of four ballrooms or a small arena. He catches brief glimpses of evenly spaced openings, seven in all. His special perception enables him to notice two more facts before he tumbles to earth: the grid extends to within a man's height of the cavern walls, and the air seems to blow up and to the center of the cavern.>
The dark seems even blacker after the glow from the grid. All night sight is lost & you are a bit disoriented.

"Hey - you! You're sitting on my cloak!! Don't do that ever again!" Coal cried out to the person falling on his spread cloak.
"We have to get out of here! Have you seen the glow and felt the wind? There must be seven tunnels here, search for the entries... 2 of them will go up, 2 down, 2 around and 1 leads to our destiny!"
<Hmmm - I'm not sure about the 7th tunnel, but it doesn't help to show them I'm just guessing. It could mean that the 7th tunnel will lead to an exit or straight to death. But I'm sure I don't want to go further down, up doesn't seem a real possibility and what does around help? Most likely we will have to fight some kind of a beast...> Coal thought

The ground begins to glow again under your feet. Again? Not again! This time you know what to expect... but the air still lifts you and you still bump into your companions in the center of the cavern. You are less disoriented when you fall this time.
<Frizelius' senses 6 seconds of dark, 6 seconds of glow, 20 seconds of air. During the dark the ground is solid. During the glow it is a grid: 2" holes, 1" grid of some solid surface.>

As they tumbled to the ground for the second time and the air blasts stopped and they were in total darkness Frizelious shouted. " When the floor starts to glow all try to huddle together, we need to be close to each other. After the air blast finishes, try to land on your feet and we'll make our way together until the next blast"

*zzzzzz* hurmph wha... yeah sure i would light a candle so we could see anything but....the wind would just blow it out. As soon as it stops im going to the nearest tunnel

On the next glow, Garrumph got as close as she could to the shadowy lump that seemed to be Frizelius by following his voice.
She prepared herself for the next air gust.

Coal did know how important it was to land on the feet, but didn't want to huddle with others.

Unable to see tunnels or anything at all, Blacksky picks himself up and begins randomly running away from the others. The ground is already glowing by the time he reaches his feet, but he gamely begins to run.
20 feet from the center the air blast lifts him and blows him back to the center. Knocking him first into Coal (who had begun to follow him) and then bumping him into the tumbling body of the unconcious Superbattler.
Frizelious and Garrumph huddle together as the air begins. It becomes immediately obvious that if they don't hold on to each other, they will be blown apart. Nonetheless, by leaning on each other, they are able to remain on the ground slightly longer.
<if either Garrumph or Frizelious (or both) hold on to the other --- they will be lifted, but only half the distance from the gound. Also they will not be tumbled & will remain on their feet when they land. Even though the others will knock into them.>
When the air quits: SuperBattler awakes when he hits the ground. Coal is sprawled across SuperBattler's legs a bit tangled up in his cloak and Blacksky is sitting on one of Coal's arms (which is wrapped in the cloak). Frizzerious is on his feet near SuperBattler's head and Garrumph is either on her knees next to Frizerious or on her feet next to Frizerious.

Frizeliou screamed again as the air subsided, " follow my voice, hold on to each other if you can, we need to all group together and the air can't lift us,,I can see the exits"

Positive now that the lump with the loud voice is Frizelious, Garrumph grabs his arm and pulls herself up.
"It's me, Garrumph," she tells him while tightening her grip.
"Can anyone reach out to grab hold of my arm?" she bellows as she waves her other arm out into space trying to see if she can grab someone else and draw them to the group.

The grid begins to glow. SuperBattler, Blackskyk and Coal are busy sorting themselves out.
Only Frizelious & Garrumph who are already on their feet, have the time to look around. They see the seven black holes evenly spaced around the edges of the cavern, the strip of non-glowing ground around the edge of the cavern (about 100 feet -- aprox 30meters -- away) and the moving silhouettes of their companions nearby (one step would bring them within reach).

"Holy cow!!" Coal cries out at Blacksy "Move and let me hand a piece of my Cloak to the other two... Then take another piece of it so we are tied together. And whoever it is under my body - hold onto my cloak too!!!"
Crying he manages to reach out with the arm covered with cloak and hands an edge of it to Garrumph, hoping that he can catch it.

Garrumph feels the bit of cloak and pulls it and its owner closer then grabs the person with her other arm and holds on tightly.
She shouts, "Anyone still unattached?"
She puzzles over the seven black holes, probably entryways to seven different unpleasantries...she squints to see if there's any difference between them at all.

Frizelious & Garrumph are crowded together. Frizelious is hanging on to Garrumph. Garrumph is hanging on to Frizelious with one hand & Coal with the other while she studies the cavern exits. The grid is glowing.

Blacksky looks down at the tangled up mess that would be superbattler. With a sigh he picks him up as if to carry him and chucks him straight at coal and then starts running towards the assembled group
