While SuperBattler is speaking, the wind stops. You all notice his face turn from a 'normal' reddish-yellow to blue. It is quite startling, but as you look at him, your eyes adjust to the new light and his face looks normal.
You just have time to notice that although the grid is not glowing, you can still see when there is a loud click.
P'yorn's voice drifts over you and echos through the chamber. It is hollow sounding and so loud your first instinct is to cover your ears. "Okay, it's done. Can't get any more without.... well,... this'll just have to do you!"
The exits are no longer dark holes. Each is clearly a tunnel, lit by the same blueish-white light that permeates the cavern.
<Frizelious -- -the light almost seems to come from the walls and ceiling themselves. They don't exactly glow, but neither is there any distinguishable light source. You reckon that it has only been 10 minutes since P'yorn opened the door for you."

"If we need to climb, I can climb up easily enough and lower a rope for the rest fo you." Garrumph said, looking around at everyone.
She pauses, startled at Superbattler's color change.
"...Now, which tunnel shall we go into? Because, frannkly, this 'chamber' here is making me nervous...almost as if it may have some life to it or something..."

"the blood could be for good or bad....it could mean something died and is no longer here.......or it could be from prey. we have no alternatives except turn back and get stuck in the wind again!" He thinks to himself that he may have condemned the quest by promoting the strange cave. He sensed that something wan't in place but he couldn't tell what.

There are 6 seconds of the bluish light, then the reddish light of the glowing grid takes over.
<Coal --- The others speak of climbing and a way out above, but from very early on you have known that you, at least, will only exit this cavern through one of the 7 tunnels. Although you sense different destinies through each, you sense nothing above. Not the nothing of death, but a nothing as if it isn't even a possibility.>

"We have to get out through the tunnel!" Coal told, "at least I will have to... So Superbattler - which one you like? I think we will go into the tunnel even if the rest choses to climb."
Now glancing on the rest of the group he awaited the response. They had to enter the tunnels and they had to do it fast. Coal feared it was dangerous to keep in the cave...

"Good enough for me,"said Garrumph. She began breathing exercises and meditations in preparation for whatever may be down the tunnel.
First a brief meditation upon acceptance to remove any blockage of the chi energy, then to more mystical meditations to channel the energy flowing throughout the universe through her body.
She felt little sensations like ants running all over her body, a sign that the chi flowed strong.
She got her staff into defensive position and was ready.

What do you 2 think your doing!! it would be no good to split up now! the wind showed us we must stick together. Go if you must but the rest will go this way leaving yourselves very open to anything. So go flee to your deaths we will fare better without you.

<Frizelious --- the seed is visibly growing. It is still just sending out it's first tap root. The root is growing down & seeking the darkness that lies under Blacksky's clothing. You can still pick it off - if you hurry. You do not recognize what variety the seed is.>

Wait don't damage it! what in the world could this be?<should i know?> I havn't seen anything growing in here the entire time and on clothes?<is it the seed i dropped earlier?> well back up and don't touch it it could be poisonous. I need to study this. As for the 3 gone i say forget them. they have sealed their fate. They fear this path and choose another put of panic.........what fools.

Garrumph pauses, puzzled at Blacksky's vehemence.
"I do not wish to split up," she replies calmly.
"I thought we were going down a tunnel instead of climbing?"
She draws closer to the group, waiting, the chi still flowing strong. "One must flow around obstacles, as the river does" is the phrase she meditates upon as the conversation takes place.

Frizelious was easily able to pluck the seed and throw it to the ground. Blacksky, after studying it, recognizes it as the seed he threw down earlier. The seed's tap root begins to bury into the dirt.
Blacksky and Frizelious stand where the group first exited the grid. SuperBattler, is standing several paces away (closer toward a tunnel). Coal is near SuperBattler and Garrumph stands midway between the two groups.
The wind stops blowing and in the sudden silence, you hear a distant tittering and then all is silent again. The sound is very faint and echoes through the huge cavern making it impossible to determine just where the sound came from.
You are very aware that time is passing and the bet was to get out of the Training Grounds before dawn.
<BlackSky --- you have now had ample opportunity to see how tall the cavern is and know that it will take days for a vine to reach the top, even with your fertilizers and water and attention>

don't worry its harmless. i dropped it earlier but it has just now started growing. We can now wait and climb to the top. It will be much faster than those three. They will find a path that is probably more difficult and may even be impossible! What fools! Why leave a perfectly good plan to search the unknown! we might as well make camp well be here awhile
