It took me a while to figure out too. I bought something with armor thinking that DSJ making would be MUCH easier.... I was wrong.

Yup; identifies armour and shields. "Smith" identifies weapons.

I know you can find crystal gauntlets from the Golems in Hie Brasil, and Crystal Rams Horns from the goats in the mountains, and crystal jaguar fangs from the jaguars in Azteca, and crystal swift boots from the swift boot quest (I think it's the Noble Trophies one), and I'm PRETTY sure crystal great bows come from the pirates at the pier, I don't know who gives crystal goblin picks or crystal staves.

Er, okay, let me rephrase.
I don't know if it's the wizards in the fields, dungeons, or the goblin mages in the goblin mounds that give you the staves.
And I don't know WHICH of the many goblin types in WHICH of the three quest areas in the goblin mounds give you the pikes.
But if you find out we'd love to know!

Staves come from the fields. Im not sure about the goblin though. *shrug*

Addendum to the Clan Abilities list:
You can also have "guild" which is, of course, automatic membership in the Guild. Well, I don't know if a clan can get it, but I've been finding weapons with it, so I assume clans can get it to.

Faceless potions allow you to change your description correct? They must be buggy b/c I used one and all it did was transport me to my peer screen.
