Useless knowledge: Calling a cat a fussbudget doesn't make him less of one. (Someone's suing the state of california over their method of carrying out a death sentence. I forget on what grounds.)

found you Frizzer! ... but, blisters? I thought one of the nicest things about the Italian shoes was that the leather was far more supple. (At least that seemed to be the case here) These ones were Bruno Magli (at least I think I got that right). Ever heard of those? oh, and.... useless knowledge: in eastern Oregon there are ranchers that groom trails for their cows! They plow a nice walkways between the barns and the field. We saw one field where the farmer got creative and had a section that went back & forth (for exercise???) and the cows were happily walking down these paths with four-five feet of snow wall on either side of them. (my sweetie immediately began talking about the maze he'd make if he were doing it... but I think that would just mean having to go out there & help the poor things out of it or they'd be lowing all night )

Further useless knowledge: in old english, the word for salmon was "lax". Maybe that's where we get "lox"?

They're slip ons Cynder, and I had very thin socks on hance blisters in 2 points, side of heel and toe. Useless knowledge, put viniger, vinigar (can never spell that) on blisters, it hurts but it heals them really quick.

Vinegar works wonders on mosquito bites, too. But that's USEFUL knowledge.

Lol, it's the vestiges of May Day (which used to be the 13th, so a little closer, right?) still influencing everyone!

The Bahai flower garden stars are supposed to be nine-point, but they were impractical so they turned out to be eight pointed stars instead.
