There's a bookstore in Eugene OR that has a sign in its window: We make house calls.

Useless McDonalds Knowledge: The lifetime of bacon for sandwiches is six hours. This means it sits out in the open, on a rack, just sitting there for up to six hours. Gives you a good idea of what you should get fresh on your next premium chicken sandwich.
Cheese has to 'temper'(sit outside in the stores normal temperature) for two hours. I completely forget and don't know what this is for, but it's pure hell to peel the cheese apart when it's actually been tempered. We try to keep it chilled for our convenience. And no, this won't prevent your cheese from melting. By the time your sandwich is bagged and taken to your window, the heat from the meat, the toasted bun, and the holding zone will melt it plenty.
Apple Pies must cool for 15 minutes before being boxed, and have a cook time of 12 minutes, they also last in a heated cabinet for up to four hours.
When getting a Fish Filet, if you ask for extra cheese, you should have one and a half pieces of cheese on your sandwich. This is because some stores charge extra for more toppings, and you are paying for a full piece of cheese, not just an extra half.
When getting a "two cheeseburgers" meal, if you want those to be hamburgers, they have to be rung up as cheeseburgers without cheese, because there isn't a button that will make a value meal from two hamburgers.
There is such a thing as a hamburger value meal. It simply isn't given a number. This goes for virtually every sandwich.
McDonalds doesn't sell a four piece nugget in anything other than happy meals. The reasoning for this is they couldn't price it to make proper profit.
At the McDonalds I work at, you're not allowed to tell anyone(employee or customer) that you dislike your job or any of the sandwiches. Your job is amazing and all of the sandwiches are effin delicious as long as you're on the clock.

Lol. I know that at the Dairy Queen nearest the U of OR, a cheeseburger without the burger is cheaper than a grilled cheese sandwich by about half. Or at least, it was the time I went in. But since I laughed about it and the person who was taking the order was the manager, I'm not certain that's still true...

Oh, that reminds me.
A Quarter Pounder with Cheese(or without, don't think it costs extra), Large Fries and a Large Drink costs less than a Quarter Pounder meal that has the fries and drink upgraded to large. (May or may not be true pending on if prices and taxes vary through states.)

I'm from Stillwater, MN where Jessie James was held in the local prison. Also, Al Capone had his hideout in the caves downtown.

Criminals used to congregate in Minnesota because we had a no-extradition law (to the other territories and/or states). Of course, this was back when states could actually DO things like that...

I am from the same town as Mark Twain's study and his grave site, and the notorious Tommy Hilfiger... who by the way is NOT respected at all by his fellow locals in Elmira, NY. also, Elmira is the Soaring Capital of somewhere... anyway, if you go there in the summer, you will see (on a nice day of course) the sky filled with hang gliders! its pretty cool, actually. lemme see... there is a maximum state prison there, and the Bud at the Glen is held near there, for all you Race Fans! oh. and near the race track is wine country for all you drunks... SO, nowhereville USA isn't really as bad as it seems.

Hm, more useless knowledge: Mingling in the Queen's Castle in DC will bring you into contact only with people of the following names: Amberdrake Bellifont Carroway Delacourt Evans Ferris Golan Hardawake Insult Jasper Killingfield Lambert MacDougal Norbert Oswald Pembroke Quail Richards Sandoval Trevor Umbert Van Hogan Walters Xavier Yolanda and Zelda. Their ranks may vary, but I spy a pattern...

Lol, it's the same for the gambling. One I might miss, but when they both did it to me, the pattern emerged pretty quickly. (And, Mr. Mighty Charmer, don't think you're going to get away without an exalt back! It's just, er, delayed in transit... yeah, that's it! -stupid hour waiting period.)

I once smote someone by accident, I've forgetten who it was. Hit the wrong button, then stayed up another three hours to exalt them back up and past to make up for it. (And you were right; it just sounds odd because of the colloquial meaning for "smitten".)
